Simply Said: July 14 2018
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” For many this is a difficult portion, but from divine viewpoint the death of Christ was essential in order for us to life, not just a natural life, but one that the spark of Christ operating by the work of the Holy Ghost …

July 13, 2018
Just thinking of the work of the presence of God in our lives, and I am so blessed today, knowing that he has me in His hands, and no man can take me out of His hands. I think of all the promises given to man, and yet man in himself is not able to keep that which he promises at his best state. We are often infected with our own limitations, and insufficiency’s which may be many. But I love this promise and provision from our Savior. Ephesians 3:17-20 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts …

Graciousness of God
I sit here this morning in awe of the graciousness of God. God was in Christ, reconciling any who would come unto him, and we read in John 1:10, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But many has received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on his name.” What a glorious passage of Scripture this morning. When we read the scripture, the prophets came and pr …

Meeting God Early
David in Psalm 5, in his approach unto God, is deliberate with his words, and the meditation of his heart. Simply Said July 4th
For the 4th of July I thought this might be appropriate to consider as we celebrate our countries Independence Day. “Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. “ In this world the system of the world always seeks to put people in bondage to some measure, and the liberty that Christ brought us is tempered often in legalism, Pharisees that hold to the law, and we end up being in a bondag …

Thinking With God (What Doctrine Is)
So many people today live their lives without ever learning one of the most important aspects of a living relationship with Christ. A relationship with God is always strained when we try to live this Christian life without the mind of Christ Think with me this morning. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians 2:5) It is amazing to me that so many try to live the Christian life without a living relationship with Him, from a distance, or by s …

Godly Expectations
Sometimes our experience in life is outside of our expectations seeing that in the knowledge of our expectations we have perceived little knowledge about the work of our adversary. We can be living in a false sense of security because of our adversary lures us to sleep concerning his ability to deceive us. We so often forget that our adversary the devil, goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1st Peter 5:8 speaks clearly. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adver …
