In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Heritage Christian Church holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, object lessons and our very own Finn the Faith Dog.

Elevate Children’s Ministry
Nursery – 5th Grade
Elevate Children’s Ministry uses “Kids On The Move” curriculum to educate, strengthen, and expand the Kingdom of God. This ministry utilizes puppet families/friends to share the message of Jesus and to teach them about the unconditional love God has for each of us. The lessons teach the importance of learning God’s Word, the importance of sharing it with others, and the authority that comes with carrying it with us in our hearts daily.

Revolution Pre-Teen Ministry
5th Grade – 7th Grade
Revolution is a pre-teen class taught on Wednesday evenings. The purpose of this group is to help pre-teens learn and grow into a closer relationship with God during the transition period between Elevate and United. This class will teach them how to build and maintain a steady relationship with god and how to use the Word of God, study the Bible and discuss everyday living through the pre-teen’s eyes.

United Student Ministry
8th Grade – 12th Grade

United Student Ministries is for students from 8th grade to 12th grade and is designed to help teens integrate into the larger, intergenerational community of the church by growing and developing in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We resist the status quo of ordinary youth ministry. Our focus is to invite those not already part of the church into a deeper walk with God and to help each other realize God’s plan for our lives. Youth ministry reminds the church that teens are not marginalized members of the body, but co-creators and conspirators in the divine work of Heritage Christian Church which is to “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all of creation” Mark 16:15.
