Journey to the Manger

The HCC Christmas play, Journey to the Manger, is coming along great! We want to thank the cast and crew for all the hard work and devotion they have to put this production on. Join our cast
as they find the true meaning of Christmas. We will have a church breakfast at 9:30am and the play will start at 11. There will be a 2nd showing at 6:30pm. You won’t want to miss this!

Heritage Happenings for Sept 11 thru Sept 17

  • The Might Men of God will meet this Sunday evening at 6:00 PM.
  • If you aigned up for the Christmas play, next Sunday will be our first practice, from 2-4 PM.
  • Next Sunday is can collection Sunday for Cans for Christ.
  • Elevate Puppet Team 1 will practice next Sunday at 9:30.
  • Legacy will be meeting Saturday, September 17th at 7:00 Pm at the home of Andy and Amy Dunn.
  • Friday September 17th at 7:00 PM will be our annual Heritage Harvest Festival at the Shae Farm. Sign up to join us today.
  • We need people to serve in a home/hospital visitation ministry for Outreach. If you are interested, please see Mike Ritchie or Denise Rayl.
  • Heritage is couponing. If you have coupons not being used, we would love to utilize them. There is a stack forming on the table in the hallway add yours to it today.
  • Heritage Recovery is a program for anyone affected by addiction in any form or fashion. Please see Shaune and Stacy Dunaway if you or someone you know has a need.

  • The Mighty Men of God will NOT meet this Sunday, due to VBS. This is a group of men dedicated to becoming who God has called them to be through intense Bible study and prayer.
  • Tomorrow evening at 6PM we will kick off our Vacation Bible School. It isn’t to late to invite family, friends and neighbors. If you are working as a VBS volunteer, we need you to arrive no later than 5:20. We will have children in the building that need supervision and everyone is responsible for assisting with keeping them occupied until the program begins. Late arrival could result in placing someone else in your position. It is going to be a great week and thank you in advance for being willing to be here.
  • Due to VBS, Wednesday’s Service will be cancelled.
  • Saturday Leaders and Coordinators we will be having our Leadership Retreat called “The Summit”. The Shaw’s will be hosting the event at their home. Please meet promptly at 10am as we embark on this journey together and learn to be the leaders God has called us to be. We will conclude at 3pm.
  • Elevate Puppet Team 2 will have practice next Sunday at 9:30. Please make sure if you are part of this team you are here and ready to work hard.

  • The Mighty Men of God will NOT meet this Sunday, have a happy Father’s Day. This is a group of men dedicated to becoming who God has called them to be through intense Bible study and prayer.
  • Women of the Word meet Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. as we conclude our study on entering the presence of God.
  • Next Sunday is can collection Sunday for our Cans for Christ project. The money raised goes into the building fund. If you have other items that could be hauled away contact Roy Jett. He will be happy to help you in any way he can.
  • Elevate Puppet Team 1 will practice next Sunday at 9:30. If your part of this team,please make sure you are here promptly and ready to practice.
  • Leaders and Coordinators make sure your schedule is clear for our Leadership Cadre on Saturday, July 16 from 10 AM-3PM.

  •  Vacation Bible School is rapidly approaching on July 11-14. Invite family and friends to Join Heritage as we plunge through the caves to learn to follow Jesus because he is the light of the world.
  • Sunday morning July 17th will be a spectacular closing program to wrap up our cave adventures. You won’t want to miss this.
